The Soup Sanctuary The Soup Sanctuary is a ministry providing free soup, sandwich and dessert item to the community. We want to be Jesus to our community.

Our mission is to glorify God and love and serve our community as Jesus sacrificially loved and served us. OUR MISSION

The Soup Sanctuary is an outreach ministry sponsored by Capital City Christian Church in Jefferson City, MO. Our mission is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ by providing food on the street to those in need of a hot meal. We want to provide an atmosphere of grace, love and acceptance for everyone serving and being served. Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning.
