We hope everyone has an AMAZING first week back to school!We’re wishing all the kiddos, teachers, and parents a smooth start to the new school year!

‼️ A little Café Piña update: The café will be closed on Wednesdays through the end of November, as long as everything continues going according to plan. ‼️

✨ BUT — don’t worry! Café Piña Bakery will still be OPEN on Wednesdays! So please stop by the bakery for all your baked-good and latte needs.✨

My dad’s chemotherapy treatments are every other Wednesday, and we’re hopefully looking at the finish line by the end of fall. Closing Wednesdays just makes things a little easier than having to constantly post schedule changes every other week.

And if I’m being completely honest… I also need a little break here and there.

My dad has had a few ups and downs, but thankfully, the chemo is doing its job. We’re taking it one treatment at a time and keeping everything crossed that we make it all the way to that finish line with some good news on the other side. He’s a fighter, that’s for sure! 🤞🏼

I’ll share a bigger update once we get a little closer to the finish line. For now, we’re just taking things one day at a time.

ANYWHO… enough of the emotional stuff.
I wanted to share this week’s fun back-to-school specials!

Wishing every kiddo the BEST school year! And to all the teachers… may your coffee be strong and your patience be stronger.

EMPTY CASE! ✅

The last of the goodies have officially been gifted to the ER & JPD!

Now we’re just keeping our fingers crossed that our freezer gets fixed THIS WEEK because we’re still waiting on a part.

I just want to give the biggest THANK YOU to everyone who helped us through this unfortunate little freezer fiasco. Seriously.

We are SO lucky to be part of such an incredible community that continues to show up and support us. You guys bought SO much soup, and we baked, baked, and dipped approximately a million cake balls. 😂

We truly appreciate every single order, share, kind word, and helping hand. It meant more than you know!

May our freezer NEVER betray us like this again.

Update to the update! 😭 You guys are AMAZING!!!

Seriously… thank you. This community never fails to show up for us, and we’re beyond grateful.

Soup update:You all nearly cleaned us out! We only have 1 quart of homemade Split Pea Soup left. Once that’s gone, that’s it!

Cake Ball Update:
They’ll be ready tomorrow for $8 per dozen.

Our freezer decided to quit on us overnight. 😅 Thankfully, we caught it in time before we lost everything! While it’s being repaired, we’re running out of freezer space and need to move some delicious goodies.

🥣 Homemade Soups – $15 per gallon or $10 per quart
