FLAVOR PACK DONATIONS NEEDED!

Every year, our service members ask us for something to help make those MREs and meals taste just a little bit better. And sometimes it blows our minds too… apparently RANCH isn’t easy to find on foreign soil!

We truly try to pack a little bit of Iowa and a whole lot of love into every box we send. This year, a group of our Blue Star Moms in Eastern Iowa is taking on the mission of creating a Flavor Pack for EVERY care package!

They’re looking for individual packets of:
❤️ Ketchup
💛 Mustard
🍗 Chick-fil-A sauce
🔥 BBQ sauce
🧂 Salt & pepper
🤍 And, of course… the much-loved RANCH!

Here’s the big number: We need 12,000 BRAND NEW individual condiment packets!

So come on, Moms — roll up those sleeves and let’s find some FLAVOR! 💪

If you know a restaurant, business, food distributor, or community connection that might be willing to donate individual condiment packets, ASK! Even a few hundred packets from several businesses will add up quickly.

Toward the end of October, our Eastern Iowa BSM group will gather together and assemble all of these Flavor Packs. Let’s help our sisters out and make sure they have everything they need!

Our challenge for this next week: ASK, ASK, ASK!

Let’s give our sons and daughters a little variety to go with those yummy MREs and meals. 😉

Here is the Amazon link you can ship direct to Blue Star moms

🔌 A SMALL PURCHASE. A BIG DIFFERENCE. 🇺🇸

As we prepare care packages for our deployed Iowa sons and daughters, there’s one simple item we know will get used over and over again — PHONE CHARGERS.

For our service members far from home, a charged phone can mean so much more than convenience. It can mean a FaceTime call with Mom and Dad. A goodnight call with their kids. A text to a spouse that says, “I’m okay.” A few precious minutes of connection with the people they love most.

That’s why we’re asking for your help.

We’ve added phone chargers to our Amazon Wish List, and a small purchase from you can make a BIG difference to one of our sons or daughters serving far from home.

💙 Buy one. Buy a few. Share our list with your friends, family, coworkers, church, or organization.

Every charger donated is one more opportunity for a service member to stay connected to home — and sometimes, home is exactly what they need most.

🇺🇸 Please visit our Amazon Wish List and help us put a phone charger into as many care packages as possible. Purchase from the list below and they are delivered right to us.

From all of us at the Blue Star Mothers of Iowa, thank you for helping us remind our sons and daughters that Iowa remembers them, supports them, and is waiting for them back home. 💙
