The most common question I get is how many cookies I bring to the market and the answer is: it depends.
It depends on where the market is, how many days a week you’ll be there, and the foot traffic.
My biggest tip: contact the farmers market or event organizers and ask about attendance on a good day and a slow day. You will have slow days, and that’s normal.
If you’re just starting, try baking for about 10% of the expected crowd. If you sell out quickly, bake a little more next time.
After a few markets, you’ll start to feel comfortable and understand exactly how many cookies your market needs.
