The gardens are struggling to produce anything right now in this heat, but harvesting seeds for next season is a full time job! If you’re growing flowers or veggies, start drying those seeds to save you money next spring. We save jars (pickle, spaghetti, olives…etc.) as we empty them and fill them with seeds. Make sure the jars are washed and sanitized and the seeds are completely dry before putting the lids on because they will grow mold.

We’ve been debating on whether or not to open our little farm stand while the weather is so unbearably hot. We’ll assess each week as it comes and decide if we wanna sit outside or stay in the A/C.
Tomorrow 8/4/26 we’ve decided it’s an A/C day, but as always, if we can bake bread for you let me know and we’ll fix you up!

07/28/2026

We’re thinking we should take another Tuesday (7/28/26) off because of the heat. Sorry for any inconveniences, but this heat is rough on us gals! Thank you for your understanding!

How did everyone do during this super hot day? 🥵 Just think, 3 more months until cooler weather!

Of all the produce and insects you can find in our gardens, what you won’t find is parasites 🪱 🦠 ! Support your local farmers and follow the sun. Which means, if produce is growing in your area, that’s what you need to be eating. Not something that was picked in another state/country several weeks ago.

We’ve made an executive decision today. We won’t be setting up this Tuesday (7/21/26) due to the extreme temperatures and heat index that’s going to be happening next week. We will however have a few packages of bread, a few tomatoes and a few cucumbers. If you want anything, please contact us either on this post, or text and we’ll arrange to meet you at our normal setup spot. You won’t even have to get out of your car!
