Today is a very special day, it's our Cavern Queen, Christine Speight's birthday! Christine found us in 2023 and was one of our very first members. She helped with our first Christmas Day Food Share and has been quite the advocate for The Cavern!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Christine!

I'd like to take a moment to say THANK YOU to Ciara. Everyone here is amazing and deserves love and appreciation but today we want to give it all to Ciara. She started working here the early part of 2025 at just a few hours a week because we didn't have enough food sales for more. Tyler and Gail did both the cooking and bartending. Wow, do you remember that? In November of 2025 we made the scary decision to go for it and make Ciara full time and that was one of the best decisions ever!

Do you know Ciara makes the pretzels, pierogis, b**r cheese, mashed potatoes and ranch dressing fresh from scratch almost every day? Every day! We love and appreciate having her here so much and want to do something really special for her.

Ciara is very shy and quiet but her energy, work ethic and drive are fantastic! This woman works hard long hours every weekend and we truly appreciate her. Thank you, Ciara!

This is Ai created but it's for visual purposes only. :) If you have a mailbox at The Cavern then we invite you to decorate it as much or as little as you'd like for Halloween because we're having a contest with prizes!
