This Local Love Thursday takes us to a Jacksonville favorite—Marrakesh. 🧡
When you’re craving bold flavors and a Moroccan-Mediterranean vibe, this family-owned restaurant delivers every time. Founded in 2010 by Ahmad Raman and now run by his sons and grandsons, Marrakesh reflects its heritage through warm décor, traditional recipes, and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps locals coming back.
Start your meal with the citrusy, spiced za’atar pita drizzled with olive oil or share a spread of classic dips and salads. Don’t miss the made-in-house stuffed grape leaves or the kabobs—chicken, beef, or lamb—served hot off the grill with rice. Lamb lovers, the chops are a must. And be sure to save room for dessert—fresh baklava is the perfect sweet finish.
Marrakesh is also a proud stop on our International Food Trail, offering a delicious way to experience global flavors right here in Jacksonville. 🌍🍽️
