To our Guests, Community and Friends:

Our 10 year lease is up soon, and we have decided not to renew it.  The area has grown tremendously over that period, and we’re thrilled to have been a part of it.  We have nothing but great things to say about our experience in Jacksonville.  As some of you know, I moved to Savannah 7 years ago to help raise my then newborn son.  We have 2 restaurants there, with more planned.  We’d love to stay in touch.  We will be winding down over the next several weeks, as we assist our esteemed team in finding suitable employment elsewhere.  We’d also like the chance to say “to be continued” to you.  Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.  Chris

Birria tacos on special today for lunch and dinner. Ours are made with our brisket with braising jus for dipping. The team did a great job with this. We’re excited to be participating in First Friday tonight

Hello everyone. Chris here. I’ll be in town for a few days with my son starting this weekend. Will be bringing this special (most likely on Saturday): Braised brisket with organic nectarine, kashmiri chile and marsala. Should be enough for several days. Will be available as a taco, quesadilla, burrito, or on Nachos. Hope to see some of you. We’re open tonight until 830, closed Wednesday/Thursday, reopening Friday at 11:30

Good Afternoon Everyone-
I’m excited to announce that Courtney Parks, who oversaw the kitchen at Corner Taco as a managing partner in 2019 and 2020, has taken on the role of production chef. He will work closely with our manager Jacob and oversee the making of the sauces, braising of the brisket/carnitas and generally help to deliver the caliber of food that you expect from us. I have known Courtney for more than 20 years, worked with him in Washington DC and have always held him in the highest regard. We are absolutely committed to serving some of the best tacos anywhere, with a Mexclectic twist. Please join me in welcoming Courtney back into the mix.

Hello Everyone-Chris here. As some of you know, I moved to Savannah about 6 years ago to help raise my then newborn son, Graham. I have become a lot more involved with Corner Taco in the past year than I had been in previous years, working closely with our great manager, Jacob Martin. I’ll be in town this Tuesday during lunch and will bring a fun taco special with me (will also be there Monday afternoon). Would love to see any of you who care to drop by. I’ll also be coming to town fairly regularly with some whims that you won’t find anywhere else. Hope that everyone has a great weekend.

That’s also eligible for the 10% off

We are evolving our hours this week to make sure that our crew get 2 days off in a row. We will always be looking for a better way, whether that means evolving our recipes or the way that we operate. We’ll be open later Friday and Saturday and will be adding a few new specials like Beer Battered Onion Rings, Southwestern Egg Rolls and Dijon Buttermilk Fried Chicken Tenders. 11:30am-8:30 pm Sunday/Monday/Tuesday and 11:30am-10:15pm Friday/Saturday (closed Wednesday & Thursday).
