Hello again dear customers,
💕Firstly, thank you for the outpouring of love, blessings, well wishes, stories, funny gifs and other positive comments about Jenkins Barbecue. 🫶🏾 I hope those of you who fell to the floor were able to get back up, unharmed, and those that were having a hard time breathing are also okay. No, this is not the apocalypse, at least I hope not, and those who called on the Lord Jesus to help, well, it’s possible he was as busy as we were yesterday thanks to you all. Also, we now understand why so many of you enjoy Jenkins, because many of your mothers were eating it while they were pregnant with you. 😂 In all seriousness, they have been overwhelmingly heartfelt to read. We know it’s jarring news.
🙌🏾 Secondly, regarding purchasing our sauce. We had a record breaking amount of online sales come through yesterday! Thank you! We appreciate it and now see just how much you all love our barbecue sauce. 📦 Your demand has definitely outpaced our production. We are processing your orders and working diligenty to get them shipped but expect longer delays due to the demand. It will be dispatched as soon as stock becomes available each day/week. Thank you for your patience! 🙏🏾

♦️There will be some Quart sized bottles of sauce for sale in our restaurants. We are capping sales at 🔺2 bottles per person🔺 so that everyone can enjoy.
📞Please call ahead of time to enquire if there is any availability. If there is, I would go quickly.
👎🏽And lastly, we will not be giving away the recipe to our mouthwateringly good barbecue sauce.

Dear customers,
We will be closing our doors at all 3 locations of Jenkins Quality Barbecue on September 30, 2025 due to rising costs of food and labour, shifting consumer trends and supply chain issues. After 68 years of serving our Jacksonville community, we look back not with heaviness, but with our hearts brimming with gratitude. From all of us, we thank you. We appreciate your loyalty over the years, and we will miss you!

We will also be closing down our barbecue sauce online shop so please place your last orders for sauce by end of day Sunday, September 21. We will only be selling pint sized bottles at this point. The link to purchase is in our bio.
📣There will be a short delay on sauce orders being dispatched as so many people have purchased our sauce already today. Thank you so much for ordering but please be patient with us. * 🙂

For those with gift cards please use them by Tuesday, September 30th.
