Join Crazy Cat Friday, starting at 11:00 for the first of what we hope to be many more “9 to 5” days, celebrating all things Dolly.

Come visit and have some Cuppa Cuppa Cobbler and if the spirit moves you sing along to your favorite Dolly Song.

Tomorrow the Happiest Place on Earth will not be in Florida or California. It’ll be here in Canton Mart Square as we celebrate all the joy Dolly Parton gave the world.

Alright, The Cat is gearing up for the weekend dinner service. I’ll post the menu shortly but it will be similar to what we have had for the past year. PLEASE NOTE: If you plan on coming Saturday night you need to let us know ASAP. We plan to be open but with the game, if we have no reservations we may cut our loses for the night and not open. We will be open Thursday and Friday night for sure and we’d love to have you come by for a visit.

Hard to believe that it’s been 20 years since I opened Crazy Cat Bakers. Some days it feels like it was just yesterday that I was signing a lease for 654 square feet in the Highland Village Courtyard and other days it feels like several lifetimes. One thing is sure, I could not have done it without y’all. Y’all have been there since day one and I can’t thank you enough. Without fail, when I have been at my lowest, y’all have been at your best and together we kept going. I do not have command of the English language to express what some of your kind words and actions at a times when I needed them the most have meant. I have been truly blessed and will forever be grateful .

20 years in the Jackson Restaurant scene is no small accomplishment. It goes without saying that I could not have done it without my staff. And I cannot thank all the merchants of Highland Village and Canton Mart Square enough for sending countless people to the Cat over the years. None of this would have happened without a chance encounter at Bon Ami and the Junior League entrusting me with a huge catering job before I had ever opened a physical location or even had a name. It’s been an amazing journey and I hope that y’all continue to take this adventure with me. Thanks for an amazing 19 years and 6 months ( and 6 months that were a little rough but we got through it together).

Thanks again for all the support and love and hopefully the adventure will continue for years to come.
