BABYYYYY… LET’S TALK ABOUT THE AFRICAN STREET FESTIVAL! 🌍🤎🔥

Last year was our FIRST year at the African Street Festival and the experience was so amazing, we already knew we had to come back!

BUT THIS YEAR?! 😭😂🥵

IT. WAS. HOTTTTTTT!
Not regular hot either… I’m talking about somebody blowing hot breath directly in your face HOT! 😂🥵☀️

Your Boujee Cousins came prepared, but baby… that heat was giving us a RUN! There were plenty of moments we all looked at each other like, “Should we just pack it up?!” 😂

BUT WE STUCK IT OUT. TOGETHER. ❤️

And then y’all showed up! 🥹 Seeing our Boujee Cousins old and new come through to support us made every sweaty moment worth it.

Whether you got food, lemonade, BOTH 😂 or simply stopped by to say hey…

WE APPRECIATE YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS! 🤎

That’s what I love about this festival. It’s not just about the food. It’s about community, culture, connection, learning and supporting one another.

We were definitely bummed we couldn’t stay through Sunday because we had another important event to attend, so we missed getting to see even more of y’all. 🥺

But hearing, “I saw y’all were gonna be here, so I HAD to come support”…

BABY. 🥹🥹🥹
THAT MEANT EVERYTHING!

Thank you for showing up for Brown&Boujee. Thank you for sweating with us 😂, laughing with us and supporting us.

We love our Boujee Cousins BIG! 🤎✨

African Street Festival, until next time! 🌍

And next year… can we PLEASE turn the heat down?! 😂🥵

FAMILY!!! 😂🗣️

Whew it’s A LOT I gotta catch y’all up on! 😩😂

If you’ve been watching us, then you already KNOW Brown&Boujee has been OUTSIDE ALL SEPTEMBER! 🗣️🔥

Unfortunately, I haven’t had a chance to really sit down and tell y’all about everything we’ve accomplished this past month. Normally I’m posting pictures, making content, doing reels, giving y’all updates… but if I can be REAL with y’all for a second…

SOCIAL MEDIA HAS BEEN EXTREMELY AND I MEAN EXTREMELY OVERWHELMING. 😮‍💨😂

Sometimes you’re so busy actually DOING THE WORK that you forget to stop and post about the work! And baby… WE BEEN WORKING! 😂👏🏾

So I’m currently taking a much-needed MENTAL HEALTH BREAK 🧘🏾‍♀️💆🏾‍♀️ because even the Boujee Boss needs to sit her tail down sometimes! 😂

BUTTTTT… don’t think I forgot about y’all! 👀

I’m about to spend the next couple of days catching y’all ALL the way up on the AMAZING things Brown & Boujee accomplished in September. From events, pop-ups, catering, new opportunities, BIG moments, and everything in between…

Y’ALL ARE ABOUT TO BE SICK & TIRED OF US! 😂😂😂

So grab your popcorn 🍿 because the September Recap Series is loadinggggg! 🔥

And to everybody who has supported us, booked us, pulled up, shared a post, bought a plate, purchased a ticket, or simply cheered us on…

THANK YOU. ❤️

We really couldn’t do this without y’all.

Now let me go rest before I start telling y’all EVERYTHING. 😂😂

Brown & Boujee has entered the chat… AGAIN. 😏🔥
