Happy Juneteenth everyone!!
Specials today- I had (and still do) lots of my Honey Caramel Cornflake bites so I put them in and on top of CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES!! Get one alone (they’re big so the same price as our Brownies $3.95 after tax) or as the base of a sundae with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, AND/or caramel sauce!

I don’t like baking just one thing usually so I also whipped up some Matcha Blondies, perfect as a strawberry sundae base!

I ALSO bought some more sodas for our new Dirty Soda Floats fun!! We have I total- Coke, Root Beer, Orange Soda, Cream Soda, Dr Pepper, Dr Pepper Blackberry, 7Up, and Ginger Ale!! Add to it one or two flavors- Caramel, Spiced Brown Sugar, Toasted Coconut, Watermelon, and Lavender!! PLEASE tell me which combos you come up with!! This is so fun for me!

Ok ok ok ok- WHOA. LARGE fluffy cinnamon rolls today topped with a vanilla bean cream cheese frosting, caramel sauce, and a homemade honey caramel cornflake crunch!! We had an order today for a Cinnamon Roll cake so I thought I’d make some extra fun ones as well!!!

We ALSO have DIRTY SODA FLOATS now that we have the Moni’s syrups- try a Coke with Spiced Brown sugar for a DELICIOUS nonalcoholic Rum and Coke vibe, Orange Soda with Watermelon, Root Beer with Toasted Coconut for a tropical root beer vibe, come try them!

I am SO excited for this addition to the menu!! Sometimes our specials run out SO FAST so I bought some Monin USA syrups since they are shelf stable, made with all natural ingredients and DELICIOUS so we’ll have Italian Soda Floats ALL SUMMER LONG!! The flavors are Watermelon, Lavender, Toasted Coconut, Caramel, and Spiced Brown sugar- we can ALSO add these to our Cold Brew Coffee Floats!!!!!! 😱😱😱 Y’all know I can make my own syrups, but they won’t last as long!

I also made our Rainbow Sugar cookies today cause let’s face it- it’s always Pride here at Sweet Melissa’s! But also because we have an order this weekend for an ice cream cake with these in the middle!! If you need an ice cream cake, the sky’s the limit on flavors! Just DM on Instagram or come up and discuss with me in person any ideas you have! I just can’t decorate very well…. That’s where my skills end. 😂😂 I can also usually get an order made before the week lead time, also just ask!

Wow, it’s chilly! I’m not gonna lie, I kind of like these cooler days scattered in the heat! I made some PERFECT treats for today- St Louis Style Gooey Butter cake is back and Fudge Brownies!! Get the butter cake as a sundae with warm caramel or strawberries and the brownies are obviously perfect with hot fudge! AND warm caramel….

This gooey butter cake is made like the original with a made from scratch yeasted base and a gooey top, not like the ones you’ll see online using a yellow cake box mix with a cream cheese topping. Btw.

We ALSO have real gift cards now too!! Can you believe it!!? We’re still cash only cause we can scan these with the camera on the iPads, but these are reusable, plastic so they’re a lot sturdier, and we can put on ANY amount! We’ve already sold a bunch over the weekend and everyone seems pretty excited about them! And I designed them like the teal stamp cards we’ve had for forever WITH the cone GenevabielenberG drew out for our mural! I love them! (Don’t you love that our new awning finally matches our colors?!)

Also, I snuck in a pic Isabella took while I was getting photos of the baked goods! 😂🤣😂

Mango Soda Floats today!! I made a mango lime syrup and made a mango soda with it and soda water and we put a float of vanilla soft serve with it!! Perfect for this hot weather! We do have some of my homemade spiced cola syrup if you loved that one! I thought it was SO delicious with our cherry syrup!

Come take photos with our new mural and tag us so I can see them! It’s all done! Thank you so so much to , it’s everything I wanted for our space!
