Ever wonder where some of our local ingredients come from? 🐐

We visited Side Hill Acres Goat Farm in Candor, where Russell and his family make goat cheese, yogurt, skincare products, and more using milk from their goats.

Some of that cheese comes right to Ithaca Bakery and is used in things like our goat cheese cheesecakes!

They also offer farm tours if you want to meet the animals and see where it all happens. Huge thank-you to Side Hill Acres for having us! 💛

Our very own Robin is participating in this year’s Women Swimmin’ for Hospice! 🧜‍♀️

Local legend Robin Cochell () is a longtime employee of Collegetown Bagels and Ithaca Bakery, and you may have seen her around our various locations.

Inspired by our incredible T-shirt design featuring the Cayuga Lake Monster, Robin, a mermaid enthusiast, jumped at the dream of becoming a mermaid, or at the very least, a creature of the deep!

She is participating in Women Swimmin’ for two reasons. Not only is it an important cause that supports the hard work of Hospice care, but she is also swimming for the lake itself. Through her mermaid and monstering antics, she hopes to educate and advocate for the conservation of our local freshwater ecosystems and preserve the life, ecology, and beauty of Cayuga Lake.
