I suppose some folks have noticed that I have not been attending the Ithaca Farmers' Market this season. I have simply taken a break for the year. Several factors aligned at the same time and I'm happy to have had my hand directed to spend the summer with my family. I wish I could spend every day with them. But I suppose someone has to provide Ithaca with the best, purest, most delicious and yet still affordable ice-cream they will ever find. I'll see you all in the spring of 2018. Stay warm and be nice to each other. Ok

It is very exciting that the 2015 Ithaca Farmers' Market season will be starting in a few days. We won't be there for opening day, but will begin our season in Mid-May. Even without The Silver Spoon the market will still be tremendous. Check it out.

A couple of weeks ago we made a Peach ice cream that was good. It just wasn't peachy enough so we sold it half price. Well, this week we did it right and added rosemary. It's so yummy! Seriously, it's out of this world. So come down to the Ithaca Farmers' Market this weekend and buy a pint. If you mention this Facebook post we'll knock off a dollar!

Peach Ice Cream. Yummm. Yeah, that's what I thought while I was making it, but when I tasted it I had to ask, "where are all the peaches?" Bridget told me to use more peaches but I got stingy so it came out a little, well let's just say 'polite'. It's still good, it's just not peachy enough. So I'll be putting it in pints and selling them for half price. Next time I will make it too peachy.

We use Cayuga Pure Organics' beans in most of our soups and enjoy them in our meals at home. Please help them rebuild after this devastating fire.
