We’d like you to meet Nana. ❤️
If you’ve ever had our meatballs at Italian Carryout, then in a way, you already know her.
Nana was your typical Italian woman in the kitchen — no measuring cups, no written measurements. Just a little of this, a little of that, and somehow it came out perfect every single time.
Every morning, she would come into the Carryout and make our sauce and meatballs from scratch. It was simply what she did — and she did it with the kind of love you can’t really write into a recipe.
All these years later, we still make our meatballs using Nana’s same recipe. We try our best to keep up with them, but some days they sell faster than we can make them — and we have a feeling Nana would be pretty proud of that. ❤️
Italian Carryout has always been about more than pizza and food. So much of what we serve has a story, a memory, and a person behind it.
And these meatballs?
They’re Nana. 🇮🇹❤️
A little piece of our family that we still get to share with yours ❤️ I
