What's new in our kitchen this week?

We've got our first Eggplants of the year from Stick and Stone Farm

Annina - Glossy Tear Drop Shaped fruits with Purple Skin & White/Ivory Striping...Typically "creamy" with a sweet flavor. Perfect for Sabich!

Intore -  Oblong, Egg/Golfball sized fruits originally from Africa with white skin that can ripen to have orange streaks/spotting. Very dense flesh...no clue what we're going to do with them yet

Cherry Tomatoes, Lemon Basil, Shish*to Peppers and Jalapenos from Plowbreak Farm

Pink Celery, Thai Basil, Mojito Mint & Vietnamese Coriander from High Ground Garden

And the first big ol bucket of Flowers from Dirtbaby Farm!

Beef en Malawach....

Handmade Beef Hot Dogs wrapped in Malawach dough and fried to GBD

Served with the classics and a side of Ramps we decided to let free after 3 months of lactofermentation

*Halloumi Update

We get our Halloumi from Tonjes Farm Dairy in Callicoon, and our last two shipments have failed to arrive.

Maybe someone at UPS loves Halloumi just as much as we do 🤷‍♂️ 🤷‍♀️
