Bosque County-
PUBLIC SAFETY UPDATE: HAZARDOUS ROAD CONDITIONS
Road conditions remain dangerous across Bosque County, particularly in unincorporated areas.

Although some ice may begin to melt, roadways are becoming more slick and hazardous, not less. Vehicles have already slid off roadways at very low speeds.

⚠️ Please remember:
Avoid travel if at all possible
Use extreme caution if travel is unavoidable
Avoid low water crossings
Bosque County Sheriff’s Office deputies, DPS trooper Sadler, and volunteer firefighters as well as myself are actively responding to incidents and monitoring conditions as safely as possible.

Your safety is our top priority. Please stay off the roads if you can and continue to monitor official Bosque County updates. Today alone, multiple people have shared that they were “just checking conditions.” Even brief trips can quickly become dangerous. At this time, Highway 6 is one of the only drivable routes, and conditions are expected to worsen again once the sun sets. Please stay home if at all possible.
