Zumi’s continues to stand with Nepal, and we have now created a dedicated fundraising page with World Central Kitchen because of their effective work on the ground after the devastation caused by the massive flash flood and debris flow from the glacier collapse near the border with Tibet on August 26, 2026.

Our hearts are forever connected to this remarkable land, home of the Himalayas, with its gentle and generous people. Our family there is safe, but all are rallying to support those who lost everything.

The link to donate is posted on our website zumis.com in the banner at the top for the next couple of weeks.

If you already donated, thank you! It will be reflected on the fundraising page shortly. 🙏🏽

With gratitude,
The Zumi’s family World Central Kitchen

🌍 Zumi’s stands with Nepal. Catastrophic flash flooding has devastated communities near the border, leaving hundreds missing and thousands in urgent need. Local World Central Kitchen (World Central Kitchen) teams, led by chef Santosh Shah, are already on the ground providing hot meals to impacted families. We are proud to support WCK’s emergency response. A portion of our proceeds this week will go directly toward funding these vital meals.Every cup counts. Join us in making a difference. ☕❤️ https://wck.org/news/first-alert-wck-flash-flooding-nepal/ or donate directly.

So proud of our barista Sophie for completing this year’s ‘the Bike MS ride’ (fundraiser for multiple sclerosis research)! 🚴‍♂️✨ Thanks Charlotte and Sophie for repping the ZUMI’S jersey all the way to the finish line! An amazing 175 miles ride for an important cause. Congrats! ☕💙

One of our favorite art exhibits every year at each Zumi’s location is youth art! In Topsfield it’s with remarkable works by Masco’s high school students, and in Ipswich it’s with joyful preschool and Kindergarten work! If ever there was something to inspire us, it’s this. Enjoy!

Meeting farmers who grow Zumi’s coffee is definitely the highlight of events like this, but World Of Coffee San Diego 2026 didn’t disappoint in all other features! The cafe community is alive with passion, and hearing first hand about how our choices impact farmers, forests, economies, and even cultures is inspiring.

Thank you for the partnership and for the personal introductions to and farmers from COMSA (Honduras), Prodecoop .r.1, (Nicaragua), Asobagri .empresarial (Guatemala) and Pangoa (Peru)
