Good afternoon friends. It is with sadness that we share with you, due to the circumstances that this year has presented we have decided to sell Solar Bears Snowballs. We know that the lord has ordered our steps, even when we did not see this coming. We have LOVED this little business with all of our hearts but the time has come to pass it on. We have dear friends that already owed a snowball business in Gaffney and they had prayed about going mobile, and We have prayed that we could pass it to a family that would love it as much as we did and that’s what has happened. Again , God was in control. Arnie and I would like to thank everyone that has supported us in anyway. All of our friends from schools, youth associations, churches and families that we have had the privilege to serve you a snowball we thank you. Many families have supported us wherever we showed up, over and over and again we thank you. The time has come for us to focus on our health and our family. Solar Bears Snowballs will become Tommy’s sno-cone on August 1, 2025, the new owners are Tommy and Michelle Scruggs. They like us, are a family run business with christian values that are ready to serve you the best snowballs around. I had planned to visit as many of our customers as possible before this announcement but due to our situation that was not possible. We love you all and ask that you keep us in your prayers as we navigate our new normal and getting Mr. Arnie back on his feet. We are excited for Tommy’s sno-cones and wish them the best. As for us, we know God’s hands are on us and we are excited to see what he has for our future. Blessings to you all.

Thank you SCA for allowing us to come and serve snowballs to all the kids for doing their summer reading. It’s always a pleasure for us to get to come to one of the best schools around! Go Warriors! Can’t wait until next time.

Summer is in full swing and that means Solar Bears is slinging snowballs left and right! We still have room on our schedule for VBS, birthday parties, company functions, etc! No better way to cool off than an ice cold snowball. Message or call us today to schedule your event.

Hey there Solar Bear fans from SCA. We just wanted to let you all know we will not be sitting in the car line parking lot today due to weather. We will be back tomorrow though and hope to see you then for your end of the week treat :)

Solar Bears Gourmet Snow Balls will be sitting in the parking lot of First North this afternoon from 2-5 🙂 We will be in the corner of the parking lot near the intersection of Ingles and the Circle k. Stop by, see us, and grab the best snowball you ever did have!!!!
