Did you know that Inglis is home to a unique piece of Florida history? 👀

⚓ The Inglis Lock was built as part of the Cross Florida Barge Canal — an ambitious project that was supposed to create a waterway all the way across Florida! The canal was never completed, but the Inglis Lock remains as a reminder of what could have been.

Today, the area is a great spot to get outside, explore, and see a little piece of Florida history along the Nature Coast. 🌿☀️
