To All of Our Customers, Friends, Family and Employees of the Sports Page and Brickhouse,
As we look back on the past 15 plus years, it is hard to put into words just how much this journey has meant to us.
When we turned in our applications to be servers in 2003 and 2006, we had absolutely no idea where that one simple decision would lead us. We certainly never could have imagined that it would eventually guide us to our greatest partnership as husband and wife and introduce us to some of the greatest people we have ever had the privilege of knowing.
Over the years, the Sports Page and Brickhouse have become so much more than places of business. They became places where friendships were made, memories were created, celebrations were shared, and countless stories unfolded. Most importantly, they became a part of our lives because of the people who walked through our doors.
To our customers, thank you. Thank you for choosing us, supporting us, coming through our doors, celebrating with us, and allowing us to be a small part of your lives. Your patronage over these last several years has meant more to us than you will ever know.
To our employees, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and loyalty. You gave your time, your energy, and so much of yourselves to make the Sports Page and Brickhouse what they became. We know that it takes a special group of people to make a place feel like a family, and we were incredibly fortunate to have so many amazing people alongside us.
To our families, thank you for your support and wisdom. We both got to witness our families thrive as business owners growing up, ironically together. That partnership that we watched between our two families did nothing but give us perspective and insight for how we wanted to run our lives and businesses. We are forever grateful for our parents on this journey.
Looking back, we realize that the greatest part of this journey was never the buildings, the businesses, or even the work itself. It was the people. The relationships, friendships, laughs, challenges, celebrations, and memories are what we will carry with us.
And for us personally, we will always look back at those applications we turned in with a tremendous amount of gratitude. We had no idea at the time that we were taking a step toward a bond with each other and becoming connected to so many incredible people who would become such an important part of our life.
We are incredibly thankful for every person who has been a part of our story and are so excited to watch this chapter unfold for the new ownership group. Cale, Nicole, Dylan and Jamie: get ready for the ride of your life and enjoy every minute of it. We couldn't be happier for you!
Thank you for these amazing years. Thank you for your patronage. Thank you for your hard work. Thank you for your friendship. And most of all, thank you for the memories.
With sincere gratitude and appreciation,
Joe & Amanda
