We want to clarify a situation due to false information that has been shared online. All of the claims are from the same couple.

The husband bought a brand new wooden mortar and pestle from our store on November 11. It was in perfect condition, and he checked it carefully before buying it. The next day, he brought it back already cracked. I kindly explained that we cannot accept returns on items sold in perfect condition and then returned damaged. This is our store policy. My husband also explained the same thing to him over the phone.

They also posted a short, audio clip of my husband and posted photos of me taken without my knowledge.

After that, the wife began posting statements online that are not true. She claimed our restaurant adds tips without permission. Our payment system does not add any tip unless the customer selects it themselves. If there was a system error or if you believe a tip was taken without your consent, please show proof so we can look into it and correct it. This concern was never brought to us directly, and we always fix any system issues right away.

We are a small family business, and we always try to treat everyone with respect. It is sad to see negativity from people in our own community when we have been honest and calm throughout the situation.

We are not angry. We pray for peace and kindness. Thank you to everyone who continues to support us.
