Thirteen years ago this morning, I walked into this restaurant as the proprietor for the very first time. My kids were one and three years old on that day. Now they're 14 and the other just turned 16 today. And now they BOTH work here. Talk about life coming full-circle...🥰
Thank you to all of the Broad Ripple residents, business owners and "local legends" (you know who you are) who immediately adopted us as one of their own all those years ago and gave us instant and undeserved credibility from Day One. Thirteen years later, we still can’t thank you enough for your support - then and now.
Thank you to our awesome clientele, without a doubt the greatest customer base I've ever had the pleasure to serve. You don't know this, but when I run help-wanted ads they say this: "If you ever wanted to work in a restaurant where you could hand-pick only the very best of customers, this is the place and these are the guests you'd choose..."
Thank you to our amazing staff, my "Fire Family" as I call them, the ones who truly make it happen day in and day out and who run this place as if their own names were on the front door. Three of them have been here with me since the very beginning and many others have been here for ten years or more.
And thank you most of all to my wife and partner Patricia, the unseen and unsung hero of this restaurant.
Thank you, one and all for the last thirteen years. We're still more appreciative than you'll ever know.
