INTRODUCING THE BIG CHEESE COACH’S SHOW!

We’re excited to announce the inaugural Big Cheese Coaches Show, featuring longtime sports broadcaster Jeff Carpenter and presented by Geek N Out + Big Cheese Pizza!

For our very first show, Jeff will sit down with five area head football coaches as they get ready to kick off the 2026 season:

We had the best visit with members of our local IHS FFA Chapter.

They stopped by Big Cheese selling business sponsorships to raise funds for their chapter.

FFA is such an important organization for young people - building leadership, confidence, responsibility, and skills that last a lifetime. We are so happy to support the chapter as a sponsor this year!

Fun Big Cheese Fact: One Big Cheese owner was the former Cherryvale FFA Chapter President and even placed fourth at state in Dairy Foods.

The other owner achieved Greenhand status and apparently decided that was enough personal growth for one organization. Any guesses on who is who? 🫣😬😉🤣

NEW LOCAL PARTNERSHIP ALERT!

Big Cheese Pizza has teamed up with Diamond R Cattle for a limited-time BRISKET PIZZA, starting this Tuesday!

We’re keeping it simple and letting the good stuff do the talking:

🔥 A base of BBQ sauce
🥩 Diamond R Cattle brisket
🧀 Our signature blend of cheese

That’s it. BBQ sauce, brisket, cheese, and a whole lot of local goodness.

The Brisket Pizza will be available in SMALL SIZE ONLY for $15.39 and only WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. We’re keeping this one small so we can stretch that brisket a little further and give as many of you as possible a chance to try it!

Once the brisket is gone, it’s gone — and we have a feeling it might not stick around long.

We love getting the opportunity to work with other local businesses, and pairing local beef with local pizza seemed like a pretty darn good idea to us.

Well, we didn’t win it all but we helped support a great cause! Great job to all and a special thanks to Independence KS Main Street and Tabatha Valverde Snodgrass for coordinating this great event.

Tabatha also let us know that we misread the fine print and are not required to change our name to Gouda Nuff Pizza! What a relief!

WOW, Independence—you showed up! ❤️ Thanks to your generosity, our very first Power Up the Pantry Food Drive collected an incredible ½ TON of nonperishable food plus more than $400 in cash for the Community Access Center! 🥫💪

A special THANK YOU to L2 Realty Inc, who collected a whopping 282 pounds of food and earned the title of our top collection location—and $100 in Main Street Gift Certificates! 🎉

We are so grateful to everyone who donated food, collected donations, bought raffle tickets, hosted a collection bin, or helped spread the word. You made our first Power Up the Pantry a HUGE success!
