🎉 The Spicy Dill ✨

Today’s special is extra delicious!! If you like a little spice, this may be the one for you. Ham, bacon, provolone cheese, swiss cheese, topped with dill pickle crispies and hot honey ranch. All on ciabatta bread and grilled to perfection. It’s served with a side of our spicy mac and cheese, pickle spear, chips and an iced tea.

Today we have The Pigout. 🐷 Smoked pulled chicken, bacon, pepper jack cheese, onions and then topped with our homemade white bbq sauce on grilled ciabatta bread. Comes with a side of spicy mac and cheese, pickle spear, chips and an iced tea.

Sometimes in life we take things for granted. Last week at Ane Maes we all realized who the true heartbeat of our organization is. It is those seen in this picture (plus Marriah not pictured. In short, I (Terry) suffered a major heart attack last Tuesday morning. Oh, and did I mention April was on a much needed vacation in the Bahamas last week as well? So what happened last week? Did we give up, did we go hide until all the trauma was gone, did we call in sick to work, did we throw up our hands and say this is impossible? Not at all. This group rallied together and said "we got this"! I am beyond proud of this staff. They exceeded all expectations. They did things they hadn't done before. They pulled together and made it work. The food industry is tough on good weeks, let alone challenging weeks. So next time you are in, please take a moment and just admire the talent of this team of ladies. They are awesome! A few quick notes as well - a special Thank you to my wife and co owner of Ane Maes- Tonya. She helped pave the way with communication, and many trips to Ane Maes to take care of things. She was able to somehow keep me calm by telling me how great the store was doing all the while sleeping in a recliner in a hospital room. A special note of thanks to my family as well. Each helped in their own special way. I am doing great! I am back to working but trying to take it easy for awhile. Thank you for all of your support to our small business. I felt your much needed prayers. It is amazing how difficult situations can bring out the best in everyone. Just another reason why Independence is the best at supporting our local businesses. Again, thank you for making our little coffee shop very very special. See you soon.
