❤️ What a Fourth of July Weekend... Thank You! ❤️🇺🇸
As we sit here this morning catching our breath, all we can really say is thank you.
Yesterday, so many of you stopped by The Frosty Monkey, and last night at the Fourth of July celebration at Felts Park in Galax, you absolutely showed up. To say we got our butts kicked would be an understatement—but we loved every minute of it. Many of our local team members experienced something they've only heard us owners talk about for years: the huge winter festivals, nonstop ticket printers, long lines, and organized chaos. Last night they finally lived it. The orders never stopped, the lines kept growing, and the kitchen never slowed down. Some of our crew had never worked an event that busy, but they dug deep, supported one another, learned on the fly, and never quit. We couldn't be more proud of every one of them.
One of our newest concepts made its debut and completely sold out in just a couple of hours. We couldn't have asked for a better first event. As always, the Frosty Monkey family found us, and seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new ones, and watching families enjoy the evening together reminded us why we've been doing this for five years.
To everyone who stood in line, waited patiently, encouraged our crew, and chose to spend part of your holiday weekend with us... thank you. Your support means more than you'll ever know.
A very special thank you goes to William Bottomley and everyone who worked so hard to organize such an incredible event at Felts Park. These celebrations take months of planning, and it showed. Thank you for allowing us to be part of such a special evening.
We've also received a lot of questions about the television production we've mentioned from time to time, and we truly appreciate everyone's excitement.
The honest answer is that we simply can't talk about most of it yet.
When we accepted the invitation to participate, we also agreed to keep the project confidential until the producers are ready to make their own announcements. That's a normal part of television production, and it's a promise we're going to keep. Because of that, we can't discuss the project's name, where it will air, who's producing it, the food truck involved, or many of the details people have been asking about.
We've been participating since last November, there are still many filming days ahead, and we honestly don't know exactly when everything will be announced. Television productions move on their own schedule. Sometimes we're filming, sometimes we're home running our businesses, and sometimes production continues elsewhere while we're serving our customers. That's simply how projects like this work.
So if you've asked us questions and all we've been able to say is, "We can't talk about it just yet," please know we're not avoiding anyone—we're simply honoring the commitment we made.
We've also had people ask about the food truck involved. For now, we're choosing not to share that either. Even if we did, there wouldn't be anything for anyone to search because nothing has been announced publicly yet. When the producers are ready, they'll introduce everything the way they intended, and we'll proudly share it with all of you.
One last thing. If you ever see a post from us, it will always come from one of us personally or from one of our official business pages. We've never hidden behind anonymous profiles, and we never will. Our names have always been attached to our work, and that's something we're proud of.
This weekend reminded us that hard work matters, integrity matters, and kindness still wins. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making this one of the most unforgettable Fourth of July weekends we've ever had.
