Known as a “bucket list destination” Steamboat is a prime destination for world-class fly-fishing, hikes, kayaking, rafting, waterfall chasing, fine dining, and simply connecting with nature. Steamboat Inn features Streamside Cabins, Hideaway Cottages, River Suites, Camp Water Houses and a fine dining restaurant. Steamboat Inn is perched on a bluff with a commanding view of the North Umpqua River. These beautifully appointed accommodations overlooking the beautiful North Umpqua River make our unique inn an ideal romantic getaway for discovering the treasures of the area such as Crater Lake, Diamond Lake and beyond. Fishing at its most challenging, trails for hikers, and swimming are all within minutes of Steamboat Inn. Presenting artfully prepared fresh local cuisine, Steamboat Inn is an excellent lodging facility for meetings, retreats and seminars. Small enough to provide a private and productive work environment and big enough to offer lovely accommodations and a splendid meeting space for groups up to 40. Nearby Roseburg hosts wineries, a wildlife safari, shopping and theaters.

Are you a spring bride or a fall bride? 🌸🍂

At Steamboat Inn, it’s hard to choose.

Spring brings blossoms, fresh green forest, and the river rushing beside you. Fall brings golden leaves, crisp air, and the North Umpqua as a spectacular backdrop.

Whichever season feels like yours, Steamboat makes for a wedding that feels a little wild, wonderfully intimate, and completely unforgettable.

Our books are now open for 2027 weddings. We host only a few weddings each year, allowing us to give each celebration the attention - and the setting - it deserves.

💍 Spring or fall - which would you choose?

Take a hike! 🥾🌲

The weather is perfect. The trails are quiet. The air is clear. And the forest is showing off.

Late summer on the North Umpqua is one of our favorite times to get outside - warm days, cool shade, and miles of trails without the crowds.

Come stay at Steamboat Inn, hit the trail, enjoy a waterfall or two, then come back to dinner and a glass of Oregon w**e.

Sometimes the best getaway really is a walk in the woods.

They’re finally back. ☕️

Our Steamboat Inn Deneen Pottery mugs have been out of stock for far too long, but the wait is over, and we have new colors!

If you’ve been waiting to add another Steamboat mug to your collection (or claim your first), now is the time.

There is just one catch: we don’t ship.

You’ll have to come to Steamboat, pick your favorite color, and take a little piece of the North Umpqua home with you.

Honestly, we think that’s more fun anyway.
