Wow!
What we thought was our retirement plan has turned out to be a stepping stone to do something else. This just goes to show that you can make all the plans that you want, but when you ask and depend on God to order your steps in life, be prepared to put down what you are doing and pick up the other thing that He will place in your hands.

God is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End...He can see our past AND our future all at once, so He knows what is best for us and what we should be doing right now that is more important than what we were doing. Somethings are meant to do for just a season or two...not for the rest of your lives.

We had plans to do a lot over time to this business, the building, and with the eight acres of land there, but those plans have changed for us. The new owner of this building and property is very excited and she will have this great opportunity and we wish her and her family God's very best!

We've learned a lot...and we'll take this experience with us.
To God be the glory in all things. We trust Him for the next thing that we're supposed to do. We trust Him to continue to be our Source and provide for us.
The Lord is good, and His mercy endures forever.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT:

Attention Dear Friends and Customers of Witte’s Pasties and BBQ.
It is with mixed emotions that I need to inform you of this: I sold the building and property at 2321 E. US-10 in Idlewild, Michigan to an out-of-state investor.
My decision was based on several factors including finances, Ryan’s health issues, location, and our new long-term goals.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you from the local community who were so very loyal to us over these past two years. We also appreciate everyone who has driven from long distances to give us a try and spread the word about us. It has been an overall very positive experience and we hope to see everyone again soon in some capacity.

Although I do not have any solid plans for opening the same type of restaurant offering a large variety of food at this time, I hope to open a Pastie shop to continue selling my Pasties and Cheesecakes in the near future. I am currently looking for a smaller building or a Commercial Kitchen to rent. I am even considering renting/buying a Food Truck. If you know of anyone who is willing to rent a Commercial Kitchen/Food Truck, please call or text me at this phone number: 231-465-1770.

I plan to keep the Witte’s Pasties & BBQ FaceBook Page active to serve as an avenue to keep you updated on what my plans are for selling my Pasties and Cheesecakes again.
