This is becoming increasingly common on the old, deteriorating Broken Bow Highway! It’s getting to the point where we encounter someone that has run off in the ditch or they’ve been involved in a wreck every week. Last night, a small group of us managed to rescue the individual in this vehicle..thank the Lord he was unharmed. However, the situation is worsening as more Texans and large trucks are using this road. It has reached a point where the road can no longer handle the traffic, with sections breaking off on the sides and no dividing lines. The safety of anyone driving this road is at risk. To address this issue, I urge all you politicians that have visited me and have said, “If there’s anything I can do for you, let me know”… well, here’s what you can do for me…take action and get this road fixed. Prioritize the repair of this road, install signs prohibiting large trucks, and paint clear lines down the middle to enhance safety. I’d really appreciate it!

NOTE: Because some people can’t read what i wrote in the above post and want to jump on me in the comments..I’m pretty sure I didn’t say it was the Texans or the big trucks fault. It says..MORE TEXANS AND LARGE TRUCKS ARE USING THIS ROAD.

🤷🏻‍♀️ Are there not more Texans and large trucks using this road? Is that not causing more wear and tear on the road? Not sure what some of you are having a problem with..the road is deteriorating in places, there are no lines, it’s being used more, it needs fixed!
And if any of you complaining would like to take a second to pray for the guy that was in the wreck, that’d be nice. He wasn’t injured but he could probably use some prayers.

The food trucks are out serving lunch today!
I went over to Mimi'S 4M'S Creations to grab some tacos, cause I read the old flyer.🤦🏻‍♀️ No tacos today, they’re serving fish today. So if you’re in the mood for fish, head over to the Sav-a-Lot and get you some fish and chips!
Went over to Williams Coffee Co. and ordered a Jalapeno Popper Chicken Salad Sandwich. If you ask him if it’s hot, he’ll lie and tell you it’s not.😂 It has a little kick to it and it was delicious! They’re set up in the 2nd Hand Oasis Indoor Flea Market parking lot. (over by Denison Cemetery).
All kinds of places to eat in this town, y’all get out of your comfort zones and go try something new!
