New Summer Evening Hours & Offerings!

As we move into summer, we're excited to expand our cafe weekend hours!

While our kitchen will continue to close at 2:00 PM, the dining room will remain open, and we'll be serving an evening menu featuring house-made snacks, ready-to-eat sandwiches, fresh salads, and a rotating selection of seasonal specials inspired by what's growing on local farms and in our gardens.

Think focaccia pizza topped with fresh pesto and Maplebrook mozzarella, Vermont-made hot dogs wrapped in buttery croissant dough, and kebab pita sandwiches featuring our own grass fed beef, loaded with seasonal vegetables. You'll also find fresh summer salads, including spinach salads featuring organic strawberries grown less than 30 miles from the cafe.

We don't need a hot kitchen to bring you amazing local summer food. By focusing on fresh ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and the best products from our region, we're able to offer a menu that celebrates the abundance of the season.

We'll also continue our beer and wine service, featuring many local Vermont beers, thoughtfully curated wines from small, ecologically focused wineries around the world, and a selection of refreshing summer drinks perfect for hot summer evenings. And for something a little special, try a glass of beautiful red wine poured over house-made nectarine sorbet—a simple summer treat that's hard to beat.

Whether you're stopping in for a quick bite, meeting friends after work, or settling in with a glass of wine, we look forward to welcoming you throughout the evening.

We're stocked with Red Oak Leaf Lettuce from Frog Hollow Farmstead, Organic Strawberries from Otter Point Farm, a selection of local cheeses, new smoothie kits from Ecobean Cafe in Burlington, and cold-pressed juices from Pulp Kitchen Juice in Northfield, VT.

Plus our freezer is stocked full of beef & pork from our farm, Frog Hollow Farmstead in Hubbardton, ice cream, take and bake pizzas, scones, biscuits, tamales and more!

Memorial Day Closure 🇺🇸

Today we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We're grateful for the opportunity to gather around the table, celebrate community, and enjoy the freedoms their sacrifice helped protect.

We'll reopen with regular hours Wednesday.
