While I was closing down Carole's HotDogs yesterday, the wind actually blew over the tripod sign on my foot. The top of my foot immediately began to swell with with pain.
As the night went on it got worse.
So between the anticipated storm and my foot issue, I decided to close today, saturday. I apologize if you had planned on stopping today.
See ya Tuesday, September 29th.
Be careful out there on this weekend

I just had to post this incident from today at Carole's HotDogs that made me laugh.
So, this nice young lady told me at the serving window, "I finally got here."
She was so so excited.
She then said, "look at my car"
Lol
Her car was facing the wrong direction almost sideways. Lol
She frantically pulled across the road because it was 2:48. Lol.
Closing at 3.
Other customers overhead and laughed. They also said it was their first time and loved the HotDogs while they sat at the picnic table.
Everyone was happy and had a good laugh.
As I always say, this is why I love what I do.

What a difference a week makes. 8:30am this morning, I started the burners in the hot dog truck and did prep as I always do.
By the time I finished at 9:30, my hands were so cold. Carole's HotDogs ...oh and at 5am I turned the heat on for a half hour to get the chill out of my house...mostly for Peanut.
I don't like this.
See ya between 11:30 and 3, Thursday, Sept. 24th
BTW, if we get hit with this noreaster, I might be closed saturday.
