New spotlight: #𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆!!! Today was pastry delivery day from 3 Bean Bakehouse—we ordered in advance through their system and they deliver! Fenceline neighbors are very familiar with their work—they made our pretzels, focaccia, and sandwich bread in the “before times” when we had food on the regular.

They now cohabitate in our kitchen. 🥰 Give them a follow so you can be alerted when their next pastry and bread subscription sign-ups drop!

Introducing 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗢𝗨𝗦 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗢𝗨𝗦 𝗛𝗨𝗫—our imperial stout with honey, and this time around with cold brew coffee, cinnamon, and vanilla as well. Officially on tap right MEOW, even though the menus won’t tell you that. Classic case of , and I’m the one telling ya.🍻

Our has us thinking about: What does “local” taste like? Today finds us in “someone else’s local” and has us wondering:

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 “𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹” 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂?
Is it: something familiar in a different place?
Is it: a different interpretation of something well-known?
Is it: something you can only get in that specific location?

We LOVE being YOUR local—and yes, Fenceline will be open Thursday & Saturday as usual, so come see Jess on Thursday from 5:00-9:00 and Sue and Jess on Saturday from 2:00 to 9:00!

It's #𝗪𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆!!! This is where we drop in to answer a whole variety of questions we are asked mostly during our open days (most Thursdays from 5:00 to 9:00 and Saturdays from 2:00 to 9:00😉) but also at festivals (like the Millstream Craft B**r Bash last Sunday—so fun!) and all over town(s).

Today, we're again answering the question:
"𝗜 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱?"

𝗧𝗟/𝗗𝗥:
We WERE. For a hot minute.

But now, we're open a couple days a week, doing what we love: brewing b**r and sharing that b**r with our neighbors.

And yes, it's working for us.
And no, we are no longer for sale.
And burnout is a slow road to come back from.

But we are steadily coming back.
And we are still working on what that looks like.
And there WILL be some fun stuff coming out in the next couple of months.

I don't normally request "the share," but I invite you to spread the word in whatever way works for you that we're still here and we're still a great place to .

While we understand that it's just now September, "Christmas in July" has past, and there are many more events before real Christmas, this #𝗪𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 is all about b**r traditions.

Pictured is one of our family traditions: since Henry was born, we've always left Santa b**r and donuts because, as we explained it, Santa was probably tired of all the cookies and milk and would appreciate our mixing it up a bit.😉

What's YOUR favorite b**r tradition? Could be historical (like Oktoberfest), a Fenceline tradition you might have (like always hosting your fantasy football draft here), or perhaps a personal b**r tradition like ours.

Happy second day of Prairie Fest to all who celebrate!!! We are open now until we’re not, probably around 10:00 or so. We have both sandwiches pictured below: HAM & JAM and TURKEY BACON RANCH.

We also still have both flavors of pudding shots! No pic of Jonathan today 😆
