Celebrating 2 baby girls!!!💖💖

But still not sure which baby goes with which mama?🤷🏻‍♀️

Some mothers like helping each other with their babies, which I think is pretty cool…😎

Until we don’t know which mama goes with which baby.😅

Why is this important?
We register all our girl calves & we also like to give each baby its own mother’s milk.

Today we made our best guess.🥰

Maybe we will do a DNA test? We will see.

Anyways… welcome to the Farm:
Ms Stella’s baby girl and
Ms Camy’s baby girl.

😍😍

Farmstore will be open today from 1:00-6:00.

Bonnie’s calf is Here!🥰 Isn’t he adorable?

All these baby calves also mean we have colostrum on the Farm Store shelf!

Colostrum is the first milk cows produce after delivering a baby. It is loaded with lots & lots of nutrition. So much more than “regular” milk.

That first milk helps calves (& humans) have strong immune systems.

Many of our customers take shots of colostrum each morning to promote healthy living. The results are pretty incredible.

Be sure to grab a bottle of colostrum next time you’re in the Farm Store and boost your immune system.☺️

Open today from 1:00-6:00.

Note: We make sure the baby calves get all they want before saving the rest for our Farm Store friends.🥰

Baby #6 is Here!🥳

And Lila had a GIRL!💝

We had a string of boys and are excited to have this white-booted girl in our herd.

We will bottle feed her for 4 months and then she’ll be put in with the older girls out on pasture until she’s 2 1/2 years old.
At that point she’ll be bred to have her own baby.

In a little over 3 years from now, she’ll be producing milk for our Farm Store customers.🥛😋

And yes, she will drink lots and lots of high-quality milk and eat lots of pasture & hay during that time.😅

It takes a long time for a dairy cow to financially ‘give back’ all the money & time we pour into her in her growing up years.😊

👨🏻‍🌾Your farmer is just over here taking care of you & your family’s future food… 3 years in advance.😉

Our Farm Store is open today from 1-6. We’d love to have you come & purchase our delicious milk.😊
