Our tea room will be closed as we spend some much-needed time with our families and soak in the sweetness of the season. We’re so grateful for your continued support—it means the world to us.

Our March Afternoon Tea Menu is here, and it’s one of our prettiest menus of the season. Alongside our fresh selection of savories, breads, and sweets, we’re introducing a new spring tea we’re already in love with — Orange Blossom Crème. 🍊🌼

Citrusy with a smooth creamy finish, it’s the perfect tea to sip on a sunny March afternoon.

March invites us to slow down, gather beautifully, and savor the simple elegance of tradition.

I had the sweetest afternoon tea experience while visiting my sister and cousin on the Mississippi Gulf Coast at Gardenia Tea Room By Almost Home in Waveland.

The experience began with a thoughtful touch—guests are invited to sip the special tea flavor of the day while waiting for their pot to brew. Mine was a blueberry cinnamon crumble rooibos, and it was the perfect cozy start.

The tiered tray was packed with an incredible variety of savories:
• Cucumber
• Chicken Salad
• Egg Salad
• Turkey
• Ham & cheese pastry
• Sun-dried tomato & Kalamata olive toast
• Mini quiche
• Cream cheese & pepper jelly phyllo cup
• Bacon parmesan palmier
• Cranberry pecan cheese ball
• Salami rose

Guests were also served two freshly made scones (vanilla and cranberry orange) with clotted cream and lemon curd—always a favorite!

Desserts included:
• French macaron
• Cherry trifle
• Chocolate crispy crepe
• Shortbread cookie

One of my favorite parts of the visit was getting to chat with the owner, Michelle. She was just the sweetest and generously shared a few business tips from her own tea room journey.

I always love visiting other tea rooms because there’s always inspiration to bring home. I picked up a few ideas and little details I’d love to implement—continuous learning is one of the best parts of this industry! 🫖✨
