I wanted to take a moment as I hear some of the people camping on this festival weekend don't think they should have to buy a ticket to this event. So I wanted to explain why the ticket sales are important. This event is for people who want to support local musicians. This event cost 30k to put on. This campground is a family owned business and does not have that kind of money. There are 200 campers here that weekend and Tickets for 19 bands over 2 days is only 50$. If someone wants to find me a sponsor to cover the 10k in ticket revenue I will gladly let campers in for free. At the end of the day this is a community event that takes a community to make it happen. We are by no means trying to make money on this event we are just trying to give these bands a platform to play their original music.
