Happy Veterans day!

We are proudly a veteran owned small business. Even more than that, we come from a family of Veterans.

Our Mission: Clean Water

I was standing next to a well in rural India as women lined up to draw water. A crowd of children hovered nearby as the muddy brown water was poured into buckets for them to carry home. The smell of that water nearly turned my stomach yet this was their only source of water.

I never realized how much I took for granted.

However we were there to document the ongoing efforts of Neverthirst to bring clean water to those who need it most. Later that day we had the opportunity to visit a village that had been using one of the handpumps that Neverthirtst had helped install. Seeing the difference that clean water brought to this village is forever etched in my mind.

On the last day of that trip, one of the Indian gentlemen asked me how what I had just seen would change the way I lived my life. I didn’t know what to say. I think I mumbled something about “Not taking things for granted . . .” What does that really mean?

As the years passed that question continued to resonate in my heart. As Abby and I discussed starting a business we both knew that we wanted it to be more than just making a quick buck. We wanted whatever we started to have a greater purpose.

Right about the time we were getting started with coffee roasting, Neverthirst announced that they were beginning work in Ethiopia. All of a sudden everything connected. What if the coffee that we love so much was used to impact the very same place it came from.

With this in mind we decided to donate $1 to Neverthirst for every 8oz bag of coffee sold. This is a starting point for how we want to make an impact so stay tuned for more opportunities to make a difference.

We're Abby and Emory!!!

Hello world! We thought it would be good to take a moment to introduce ourselves so we can get to know one another. We are Emory and Abby Eledui the husband/wife team behind Wilson & Claire.

A lot of people have asked about the name and it's actually quite simple. Emory's middle name is Wilson and Abby's middle name is Claire. We tried a lot of different name ideas but we always kept coming back to Wilson & Claire. We like to think it sounds classy and laid back all at the same time.

A little about us:
- We have been married for almost a year now! Our wedding was scheduled the week everything shutdown for COVID. So yeah our first year of marriage has been a little different.

- We love art! Both appreciating it and also making it. As I write this Abby's watercolors are laid out on the living room floor and I love it!!

- Our favorite home brew method right now is the V60 and our next purchase will hopefully be the ceramic Kalita made by Hasami ceramics.

- Our daily driver coffee is definitely an Ethiopian Shakiso at the moment. The juniper berry notes are cray cray!

We can't wait to start delivering coffee to YOU!!
