I’m not sure how to adequately put into words the blessing being able to smoke a little bbq was to me these last two days!

I like everyone else was at a loss of how to show my love and support during such a tragic situation! I needed to do something!

If I could have had a little talk with GOD last Saturday morning I would told him my babies are grown take me instead….but we can’t! We also can’t look backwards and question all the what ifs and whys….we must look and move forward!

To each of you who stuck your hand inside that beautifully decorated donation box or scanned your Venmo or cash app THANK YOU!! Thank you for being a blessing to maybe lives you didn’t even know but GOD pulled those heart strings and used you to be his hands and feet!

Carroll County sure united at my little tents the last two days and I’m forever thankful!

I hope I don’t have a reason to do this for a long long time again but I definitely know the mission for my little smoke trailer and my spare time!

If you aren’t familiar with me…I’m Lindsay and have lived in Carroll County my entire life…this beautiful little girl is the one who calls me LaLa!

Our lovely famous in a small town JuJu is dropping off Rolls, Loaves, and cinnamon rolls!!
There is a considerable amount of money my family will pay for a pan of cinnamon rolls so just be prepared 💴 💰 💵

Bring your babies out for the Petting Zoo!! They are simply taking donations and you get to feed their sweet animals! Allison Webb and her husband were the kindest people and Paislee loved them and their animals!

Huntingdon the Petting Zoo will be set up at Cash Savers tomorrow along side us!!
Come bring your babies and I mean yourself cuz who doesn’t wanna love on some sweet animals!
They are donating all proceeds to the families also!!

I couldn’t make this possible without the generosity of EACH of YOU!!

None of us are perfect people, seperate we can’t always accomplish what we can united!!
Today we united for two families who have suffered unimaginable loss!!

I’ve cooked an estimated 320 sandwich combos for Thursday I’ve ordered the same for Friday!!

People always ask what’s the price well in the stand a combo was $8 but today and tomorrow whatever you can give is what it’ll cost!

Arrangements for Martin Perez!

A bake sale table will be set up at both locations! If you’d like to bring something to be donated drop it off at either location by 10am with a name and description in see through packaging (no aluminum foiled tops) so patrons can see the product!

All proceeds from both days will go to the families of Martin Perez and Luke Scott for burial or stone placement costs.

Funeral services for Martin Raul Perez are Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 1:00p.m. at Long Heights Baptist Church McKenzie. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday, 4:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Carroll Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Perez, 26 years old died Saturday, September 6, 2025. He is an apprentice lineman with Drewry Communications and a graduate of McKenzie High School. He was born on June 3, 1999, in Wichita, KS to Juan Perez and Patricia Cardoza Juarez.

He is survived by his father Juan, his mother Patricia and step father Everardo Hernandez, girlfriend Kristen Jenkins, a son Atlas Raul Perez, five sisters Lizbeth Alejandra Torres – Cardoza, Gabriela(John) Ramos, Sanjuanita Cardoza ( Matthew Coleman), Ciria (Jorge) Zuniga and Marilyn Hernandez, a brother Juan (Bianaca) Perez, one niece Dayrany and seven nephews Samuel, Thiago, Cristian, Daniel, Luis, Miguel and Uriel.

Stole a pick from the one who bred the hunter!!

LUKE loved the outdoors! Duck, deer, fishing you name it he enjoyed it

I had even asked him to be my “date” for DU banquet last year but he had a work accident that required surgery that day….so he stood me up only after asking his mama if he could still go! 🤣❤️

I sent a few messages and these awesome Carroll County born and bred boys stepped up and said yes!!

calls both Champ Duck callers are donating a couple calls for us to “raffle” off! As soon as I have the mark ups we’ll post the logistics of it all!

As Martin Perezs family makes his arrangements today and Luke Scott’s family lay him to rest please be in prayer for their families!!

Two things that have drug me along this valley of divorce are pictured right here!

This is Luke Scott feeding my precious first grandchild Paislee!! Not a week went by that this precious neighborhood child didnt check in on me!

Today ,Luke, with a fellow coworker lost their lives in a tragic, tragic accident!!
Luke just turned 18 and was without Life Insurance.

This is how I pay my respect and show my love to his family along with his co workers whose family is out of the country so I’m leaving his name off for the moment.

I’m setting up Friday for Pulled Pork or Smoked Bologna Sandwiches! Donations only for the burials of both young men will be taken!

I’ll update with a location tomorrow still working those arrangements out!
Brummitts in McKenzie will be in charge of Luke’s services so donations may also be made to them directly in Lukesters honor and memory!
