Good morning Tivoli! As many of you are aware, because we had the pleasure of seeing SOO many of you this weekend, Matt had an emergency appendectomy on Saturday afternoon. We wanted to update you on his condition…
After surgery on Saturday we were told he should be good to go to come home on Sunday. Unfortunately he spiked a fever and they’ve kept him another day, and this morning we found out he has to stay until tomorrow…. Ughh
We wanted to thank our amazing staff for the all hands on deck approaches they took this weekend to come out and help Cole in the kitchen. Our front of the house manager Courtney instantly became salad and sub maker extraordinaire! Terry and Sarah were killing it in the dish pit and Andy was Cole’s saving grace on the grill! As always, the front of the house kept the drinks flowing and took care of everyone during a VERY busy dinner rush. You guys rock!
If we had the pleasure of serving you on Saturday night we’d like to apologize for the long wait times for food. The kitchen was severely understaffed with people who stepped up and did a job they were not trained to do!
It’s times like these where we simply can’t express our gratitude for the people who make Tivoli, Tivoli. !
Long story short if you have sharp pains in your stomach and have severe bloating, GET TO THE HOSPITAL ASAP! Special thanks to the team at Geisinger for taking care of Matt, we’re praying tonight will be his last one in the hospital!
