What a privilege it is to be tired from the work you once begged the universe for. What a privilege to feel overwhelmed by growth you used to dream about. What a privilege to be challenged by a life you created on purpose.

My 38th year in this world and I wouldn’t be where I’m at without all the people in my life.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of our beloved restaurant Mom, Claudia, over the holidays.

From the very first day Elliot’s Table opened, she stood by Elliot’s side—steady, loving, tireless. She welcomed staff and guests like family, held us together during the hardest days, and filled this restaurant and garden with warmth you could feel the moment you walked in.

Claudia was our heartbeat. Our constant. Our home.
We will carry her spirit in every service, every gathering, every plate that leaves the kitchen.

I’m incredibly grateful for where I am today and for everyone who’s been part of this journey. Your support over the years—whether through the restaurant, our event space, the Heights, or the greater Houston community—has meant the world to me.
