Locally sourced. Established in 2013 Conceptually designed to promote a green and healthy living for the overnight community. Items available are specifically designed to relieve, calm, soothe or prevent common biological disorders affecting humans such as: insomnia, anxiety, stress, stomach ache, constipation, cancer prevention, alzheimer's disease and others. In addition, NOKturne believes a greener environment and cleaner air is the key element for longevity and a healthier living. This is why NOKturne has taken the measures to provide biodegradable packaging on every single item sold, as well as the incentive to stimulate the usage of our ReBag. NOKturne was created to help the overnight community. Why night, you may ask. Well, it turns out that the labor force on duty during late hours is much more smaller compared to the diurnal workforce, so it is easier to make an impact about our business. Also, late workers and night dwellers have considerably less options to maintain a balanced diet. 🚀 WE’RE HONORED TO BE RECOGNIZED BY NASA JSC! 🚀

Last week was Vendor Appreciation Week at NASA Johnson Space Center, and we were incredibly honored to be recognized for the work we do there. But we have to give a special shoutout to this one… 🏆

Nokturne was presented with the 2026 NASA Exchange–JSC “Most Creative Menu Award”!
From international-inspired dishes and fresh juices to our rotating menus and all the little details that make our food program unique, we’ve always tried to bring something different to the table.

Being recognized for that creativity by the people we serve at NASA means a lot to us.

Thank you, NASA JSC, for the recognition and for allowing us to do what we love every day. ❤️ 🚀

Roasted Eggplant Salad

New menu item: Rooted deeply in the historical culinary exchanges of the Iberian Peninsula. Eggplant (called berenjena in Spanish) was brought to Spain by Arab traders during the Moorish occupation around the 8th century.

This dish was born out of rural necessity and geographic resourcefulness by pastoral communities, mountain shepherds, and farmers.

🐑 The Method: Before starting their long workdays, shepherds would pack raw, easily transportable vegetables from their home gardens into their sacks.
🍆The Meal: Once the livestock was set to pasture and a wood fire was lit for warmth, they would place the whole vegetables; eggplants, peppers, and onions directly into the glowing hot coals and ashes.
🔥The Result: The skins would blacken and char, steaming the flesh inside to a tender, sweet, and intensely smoky state. After cooling, the burnt skins were peeled off, the flesh was shredded into strips, and it was generously dressed with local olive oil. Because meat was historically a luxury or scarce for laborers in these inland areas, this vegetable medley served as a vital, nourishing centerpiece of their diet.

So yeah, if you read this far means you are actually intrigued by culture, cooking techniques and ancient history, a true foodie. You ought to try it! No other place serves this delicious and nourishing dish in Houston.

🧑‍🚀The astronauts run through emergency egress steps, check life support hardware, and rehearse how to secure equipment and manage Orion’s internal systems. These skills prepare them for contingencies during their nearly 10-day mission.

Juice name: Crater Core
Ingredients: Golden apple, radish, beet, guava, ginger.

While the Artemis II astronauts will not land on the surface of the Moon, the geology fundamentals they develop during field training will be critical to meeting the science objectives of their mission.

These objectives include visually studying a list of surface features, such as craters, from orbit. Astronauts will snap photos of the features, and describe their color, reflectivity, and texture; details that can reveal their geologic history.

Falafel Burrito is finally here! Took us while right? We're just happy the recipe is finally complete. Homemade Hummus, sun-dried tomatoes, red onions, shredded cabbage and carrots, fresh Romaine and of course... Chickpea and Fava Bean fritters (our falafel), all topped with spicy cayenne and wrapped with spinach flour tortilla. 🤤

Yes, it's got a kick but nothing too hard to handle. Served with fresh fruit and petite dill pickles. 🥒

It's available all day and with soup or salad for lunch. Get ready for its own special on Tuesdays.

And yes, it does look like the picture - because we took the picture. 😜
