Meet Martin Rocha, one of our bartenders at The Bar & Patio, who has been part of The Houstonian family since June 2020.

For Martin, the most memorable part of his role is the relationships he's built with guests over the years. Serving our guests often grows into welcoming back familiar faces, catching up like old friends, and creating meaningful connections that make every shift special.

🍪 Celebrating National Homemade Cookie Day with a sweet piece of Houstonian history.

When President George H. W. Bush and Barbara Bush called The Houstonian home in the 1980s, Mrs. Bush shared traditions rooted in warmth and hospitality. This beloved cookie recipe came from her longtime friend, Patsy Caulkins, and when asked for permission to serve them, Mrs. Bush graciously replied, “I would be honored.”
