🌊✨ A New Chapter for Mermaid Mutineer✨🌊
Friends and fellow mutineers,
We have decided to take a break from the food truck after eight incredible years slinging coastal fare from our beloved Airstream, Eleanor. To our customers, local business partners and friends, thank you for tasting our food, trusting us with your special celebrations, and inviting us to drive Eleanor onto your properties.
Owning a business is an honor, gaining the trust of strangers is a remarkable blessing, earning a living doing something you love is a gift. This is not the end - we have new and exciting endeavors ahead, and I hope you’ll come along for the journey! Special thanks to all who helped make this dream possible, especially those below…
❤️Thank you to my husband for teaching me to tow a trailer, for fixing all mechanical mysteries, for slugging it out while I figured it out, for sticking it out and keeping me laughing.
🍻Thank you to the small business owners who gave us a start, shared their guests with us, inspired us, encouraged us, and provided a landing place for Eleanor, even during the uncertain and strange times during Covid.
🏡Thank you to our customers, who trusted us on their land, at their homes, with their most special celebrations, and sometimes hired us without even tasting our food (I also credit Eleanor for that, since she’s cute).
🚚 Thank you to the local food truck community, new and OG, sweating in your kitchens, lugging all your gear, smiling out your windows, feeding hungry souls, supporting each other.
🏴☠️Thank you to our staff, made up of both actual and chosen family, for being f& #%ing fun and flexible and strong and kind. You are the heartbeat of the business, the true Mutineers, the rugged souls.
I hope you’ll continue to share our adventures, and we hope to support any of you who need it with all the love we’ve been shown.
Stay salty,
Heather Holden, Chief Mutineer
