Last night, we lost one of our own.
If you knew Bobby Rogers, you know he was a man of many hats, an Air Force veteran, a jokester, and sometimes our very own jackass. 😂 But if we’re being honest, he was getting a little sweeter in his old age.
You never knew what was going to come out of Bobby’s mouth next, and that’s part of what made him Bobby. He kept us laughing, kept us on our toes, & he has been a part of the Roundie’s family for longer than we have probably been alive.
The hardest part of this business isn’t the long hours or the hard work. It’s losing the people you grow to love. When I started here as a teenager, the “long table” was full of familiar faces every morning. Over the years, that table has gotten smaller, and Bobby was the only one still holding his seat everyday. That makes this one hit a little harder.
We’re thankful for every laugh, every story, every smart remark, and every morning spent together.
Rest easy, Bobby. We know you’ve already found somebody to pick on up there.
Please keep his family and friends in your prayers💔
