To all valued customers, a matter of great importance has been brought to our attention. Kenneth, who continued to work at the Anchor Room following our sale and the transfer of ownership to Patel, has improperly distributed various items that were not his to give away. Many of the items that were sold to the new owner, Patel, are among those that were inappropriately distributed. As Kenneth did not possess ownership of these items, he lacked the authority to dispose of them. We kindly request that all parties involved return these items to the Anchor Room, including the open and close sign, as well as any other items that were received. Please note that the new owner did not grant Kenneth permission to distribute these items. We appreciate your respect for the new owner and your prompt return of all items. The items that need to be returned include pictures, salt and pepper shakers, napkin holders, wall decor, military flags, and other items. This situation is truly disturbing and demonstrates a complete disregard for the new owner.

Our team is working to assist individuals in retrieving pictures and videos from our archives of entertainment events and musical performances. We have lost some valued customers and musician's that have gained their wings and we wish to aid their families in collecting memories when they were with us. As the new ownership has only recently taken over, some individuals may not be aware of the current situation or possess the necessary technical expertise. Does anyone wonder what happened to this sign? Upon purchasing the Anchor Room, my husband and I discovered that the landlord had taken several items, including the ladies' bathroom sign, bubble gum machine, cigarette machine, two TVs, deep fryer, ice maker, stainless steel cooking tables, pizza racks, and numerous other items. During the September and October 2024 renovation period, I was absent for a single day, and upon my return, these items were gone without any prior notice or communication. I sought the return of these items, but my requests were consistently ignored, and the landlord demonstrated no willingness to recover or give back the stolen property he took in his possession.

We are facing questions. Why did we decide to sell? My husband was dealing with health issues that required attention. We have a strong attachment to the Anchor Room. We made every effort to revive it for the community's benefit. If not for us, the Anchor Room might have remained closed. We kindly ask that you take our health into consideration. We are thrilled that the Anchor Room will continue to operate under new ownership and wish them all the best. We request that you support the new owners during this transition period. Eric and I have always been staunch supporters of the Anchor Room and will continue to be so. We invested significant time and effort into reviving the Anchor Room. However, some changes were beyond our control due to the landlord and contractors. Our intention was to maintain the original ambiance. Ultimately, the Anchor Room is open, and its appreciation and the staff's service are what truly count.

Everyone is likely aware that we sold the Anchor Room due to health reasons that have arised. We wish the new owners all the best and are providing our support. We kindly request that you refrain from making negative comments. Unless you have personal experience owning a restaurant, it's difficult to understand the challenges involved. My husband and I had to prioritize our well-being and focus on essential matters. We invested significant time and effort into the Anchor Room. We believe that God has plans and paths for everyone, and we aim to maintain our health, strength, and resilience while living life to the fullest. No one is promised tomorrow. Our reasons for selling are more complex than people may think. Although we may not have met everyone's expectations, we successfully revived the Anchor Room, and many customers appreciate our efforts. We encourage kindness and support for the new owners to ensure the Anchor Room continues to thrive. Negative comments can be detrimental.
