Come hang with the stars of OysterFest this weekend! Saturday and Sunday beginning at 10 am we will be volunteering up at the Port of Shelton with the mobile marine touch tanks. All the animals were gathering in Hammersley Inlet near our South Sound Oysters and Clams farm and after showing their star quality to teach about importance of protecting our clean waters… they will be back to their day job of eating our 🦪 oysters and clams Monday.

While a few of our team will be there all weekend… the rest will be at the Fjord Oyster Bank slinging the rest of the oysters 🦪 the stars left behind. We’re open from 12 to Saturday and until 6 on Sunday… we’ve saved a few dozen for you for after you’ve finished exploring OysterFest! The weather is going to be perfect and Charlotte made her famous chocolate cake… so many reasons to visit!

From Varese, Italy to … Union, Washington Finferfolk brings their folk-rock spirit and energy to Hood Canale’ as part of W**e Crush / Celebrate Italy week!

They’re flying in today and with Chris Eakes and Scott Lesman’s help with sound and instruments they will make a brief appearance at open mic Thursday then play five sets Saturday and Sunday while you crush grapes, drink w**e and enjoy wood-fired pizza.

Here’s the Hood Canale’ schedule this week:

Wednesday: retail open 11-6, Canale’ closed

Thursday: retail 11-9, Hood Canale’ 4-9

Friday: retail 11-5, Hood Canale’ private event

Saturday: retail 11-9

We are closed right now but excited about all the improvements we’re getting completed before we are back at it again in October 🎃.

Here’s one small but BIG change— we’re getting ready to really mix things up at the Fjord Oyster Bank.

All the fresh baked bread was mixed in that petite red commercial Kitchenaid mixer before… many many batches at a time. I’d say this new big brother will definitely change things up a tad. Fresh bread 🥖 and cinnamon buns anyone?

Definately noticed a difference this season with the closure of Staircase - Olympic National Park entrance. Look forward to seeing its rebirth.
