Hi Everyone!

I can hardly wait for Saturday and another wonderful day at the market!

If the weather forecast is right, it looks like we'll have the perfect weather for cakes and desserts this weekend. ☀️✨

I'll be bringing a delicious selection of my raw vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free treats, and even though the cooler temperatures may be ideal for cakes, the ice creams are making a comeback too! 🍓🥭🍦

This week's mini tortes will include:

One of my favorite parts of the market is seeing familiar faces, meeting new friends, and helping everyone find their new favorite dessert. ❤️

Confession: Yesterday's cake deliveries were made by a pirate. 🏴‍☠️
After spending the day leading a pirate sailing adventure for young Hungarian Scouts, there wasn't enough time for a wardrobe change before delivering dessert orders.
Thankfully, the cakes survived the voyage, the customers got their treats, and no mutiny occurred. ⚓️
Just another day of balancing motherhood, community events, and running Gorge's Tortes.
Life is never boring around here. ❤️

🌸 A little treat announcement! 🌸

This weekend I'm preparing a larger order for a graduation celebration, which means I'll be making extra mini desserts in three delicious flavors:

🥭 Mango Passion Fruit
🍓 Strawberry
❤️ Raspberry

Since I won't be at the market until June 20th and June 27th, I thought I'd offer these flavors for pre-order to anyone who might have been hoping to find me there sooner.

It's also a lovely opportunity for those who would like a smaller quantity, as I'm happy to accept orders of fewer than 4 desserts this time.

Please note that orders are available only in these three flavors.

The weather outside may be grey and rainy, but these colorful little birthday cakes always bring sunshine to my day. 🌈✨

Over the years I've had the joy of creating so many special cakes for little girls—Elsa, Barbie, princesses, mermaids, and all kinds of magical birthday dreams.

Looking back at some of these creations today made me smile, and I thought they might brighten someone else's day too. 😊

There is something so wonderful about being part of a child's birthday celebration, even in a small way. Every cake has its own story, and every one is made with lots of love. ❤️

Today's little sunshine... ✨🌻
This 5" Mango–Passion fruit Cashew Mousse Torte left the kitchen today dressed in yellow, just as requested. 💛
Filled with tropical flavors and decorated with fresh blueberries, mint, thyme, and delicate edible blooms from the garden, it was made for someone very special.
One of my favorite parts of creating cakes is adding those tiny details that make each one unique—flowers picked fresh, herbs still fragrant from the garden, and colors chosen just for the person receiving it.

Summer is filling up quickly, but I still have a few spots available for custom tortes, birthdays, celebrations, or "just because" moments before our family takes a little vacation. 🥰

What a beautiful market day… 💛 It was SO busy that I completely forgot to take a single picture 😂💛

The mini tortes completely sold out, so many cupcakes and Snickers found happy homes, and I came home absolutely exhausted, happy, emotional… and immediately needed a nap. 🥹✨

A little 5-year-old princess received our sweet surprise today… 🥹🦄✨
This was a special strawberry • mango-passion fruit mini torte.
I decorated it with a unicorn and so many organic edible flowers from my garden, while my daughter helped me place every little detail with love. 🌸
These are the moments that make me love what I do so much. Creating desserts that feel magical, personal, and full of joy. ✨
