This is Tiki’s Ohana. 🌺

One of our team members, Sophie, came to work wearing a pakalana lei her own grandmother made by hand — love and tradition, strung flower by flower. She even pointed out her teammate’s stephanotis lei, the delicate “Hawaiian wedding flower,” right beside her.

A guest noticed Sophie’s lei and asked if it was pakalana. Sophie said yes… and before anyone knew it, she’d taken off one of the strands and gifted it right to them. Just because.

That’s the kind of aloha you can’t train for. Mahalo, Sophie, for reminding all of us what “Ohana” really means — and to every guest who walks in and leaves family. 💛
