In need of local strawberries !

I am planning to have a free ice cream evening next week as part of the Taste of Homer week, details will be given in the near future. I am planning to only having ice cream flavors that get their flavor from ingredients I can get locally (mint, basil, rhubarb, Grace Ridge Stout, etc.)

I would also like to have my strawberry rhubarb pie ice cream made for this special occassion with local strawberries. I will need about 2 pounds worth. Let me know if I can buy, trade, etc.

The Wednesday Farmers Market is a great alternative for those of you that don't shop on Saturday @ the HFM due to the traffic. The market opens at 2 PM and is lightly attended from 3 - 5 PM. The farmer's crops have really started to come in, so show your support for them and come on out tomorrow. While there, drop by Udder Delights and pick up some pre-packaged cups of ice cream to go.
