’Twas the night before Bears football,
when all through the town,
Every Bears fan was dreaming
of that first TOUCHDOWN.

The jerseys were hung
by the big screen with care,
In hopes that a winning season
soon would be there.

The fans were all nestled,
all snug in their beds,
While visions of touchdowns
danced in their heads.

When out on the field
there arose such a clatter,
We sprang from our seats
to see what was the matter!

Away to Front Row
we flew like a flash,
Grabbed seats at the bar
and got ready to clash.

With 40 TVs glowing
and kickoff at noon,
We knew Bears football
would finally be here soon.

Then what to our wondering
eyes should appear?

THE CHICAGO BEARS…

Now tackles!
