Tonight, Chef Kevin Meehan had the privilege of assisting the Hollywood Food Coalition with their nightly dinner service, where more than 400 meals were served to the community. We were deeply impressed by the quality of service, the professionalism of the staff, and the genuine humanity they bring to creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels seen and cared for.

A hot meal is a basic right, and the work they do each day to support unhoused neighbors and others in need is truly meaningful. We’re also grateful to CookUnity for their sustainability program, which helps connect unused fresh food from many establishments to this important cause, turning it into delicious, nourishing meals for our community.

We’re deeply honored to be included by Eater LA and editors Matthew King and Mona Holmes among LA’s top steakhouses. Thank you for the recognition and for shining a light on our reimagined Kali Restaurant.

Over the past few months, we’ve felt an incredible amount of support as we reopened and reimagined a restaurant that has been part of Hollywood for more than 10 years. This evolution was a bold and necessary step for us, and we’re grateful every day for the opportunity to continue serving this city we love.

To our guests, you are the heart of Kali. Your continued support, enthusiasm, and belief in us mean everything. Hollywood is an amazing place, and we’re proud to be part of its energy and spirit.

To our incredible staff, past and present, thank you for your dedication, discipline, and care. The level of focus and consistency you bring every day is what makes Kali what it is. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to donate our time and services from Kali Restaurant alongside Chef Kevin Meehan and an amazing group of volunteers who gave their time to support such a meaningful cause.

No Kid Hungry has been one of our favorite charity events to support for the past 15 years, and we are deeply proud to be associated with so many inspiring philanthropists who share a vision of making the world a better place.

As chefs and restaurant owners, we’re often asked to donate our services and products to worthy causes. While we do our very best to help whenever we can, we are especially honored when we’re able to support events like this one.

Thank you again for such a wonderful night. We look forward to many more opportunities to give back together.
